VERIFIED
All AZTIVATE projects are verified by Voluntary Carbon Market standards such as Gold Standard or Verified Carbon Standard, to guarantee that the carbon credits they generate are real and measurable.

ALGUNOS DE NUESTROS PROYECTOS
ZIMBABWE
Este proyecto es de base comunitaria e implica la implementación de actividades de alto valor en conjunto con la población local. El proyecto tendrá una generación total de alrededor de 196.513.929 reducciones de emisiones debido a la reducción de la deforestación. Cabe señalar como adicional, que una parte importante de los ingresos de carbono del proyecto se invertirá en actividades generales que garanticen la sostenibilidad del proyecto, permitiendo estructurar beneficios económicos, técnicos y humanos que impacten directamente a toda la comunidad, especialmente a los más pobres, utilizando estos fondos para mejorar la salud y la educación en el área de influencia del proyecto Por último, pero no menos importante, tiene una serie de impactos dentro de sus actividades, que contribuyen a la mejora de la agricultura local y sus costumbres, agregando valor a los bosques, prácticas de sostenibilidad forestal , manejo de incendios y alternativas a materiales de construcción sostenibles.

WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?
Compensation for CO2 emissions consists of the voluntary contribution of an economic amount, proportional to the tons of CO2 generated here, for a project that seeks to capture an amount of tons of CO2 equivalent to that generated in our activity, by setting up practice of a carbon sink project by reforestation or avoiding the emission of a quantity of tons of CO2 equivalent to that generated in our activity through a project of energy saving or efficiency, replacement of fossil fuels by renewable energy, treatment of residues or avoided deforestation.
OUR PREMISE
Climate change is a global problem; CO2 emissions that are made at a certain point affect every planet. Similarly, the emission reductions that take place in one place contribute to reducing global warming.
To stabilize the climate, it is necessary for industrialized countries to reduce their CO2 emissions, and developing countries to achieve clean development, taking advantage of the transfer of resources and technology.
OUR PROPOSAL
Offsetting is the action that closes the carbon footprint management cycle and is the tool that allows a person, entity, product or service to be carbon neutral.
Our CO2 offset projects:

They generate social benefits for local communities, such as the generation of jobs, improvements in education, in health, in food security, and empowerment.

They protect, conserve and improve biodiversity.
Economic and tax benefits
Compensation of emissions through AZTIVATE projects is a donation and is processed as such. AZTIVATE will issue the emission compensation certificate and the tax certificate of the donation once it has been made.
This donation may benefit from the tax regime of donations and contributions to non-profit entities, in accordance with the provisions of article 20 of Law 49/2002, of December 23, on the tax regime of non-profit entities and tax incentives for patronage.
DESTINATION OF FUNDS
In the projects promoted by AZTIVATE for offsetting emissions, 75% of the price of the ton goes directly to the management and execution of the offsetting project. The remaining 25% finances our International Cooperation projects.
In this way, we are able to work within the framework of the Paris agreements to offset CO2 emissions, generate benefits for local communities by generating jobs, develop an international cooperation project and finance it with the commercialization of the bonds CO2.
